In real estate, “walkable” is a buzzword that gets thrown around loosely. Sometimes it just means there is a sidewalk; it doesn’t guarantee there is anywhere worth walking to. But in Willow Glen, walkability isn’t just a marketing term—it is a lifestyle. We call it the “Stroller Score”: Can you leave your house with a stroller (or a dog, or just a coffee cup) and spend three hours running meaningful errands without ever touching your car keys?
In Willow Glen, the answer is yes—if you know where to look.
Mapping the “Golden Triangle”
While the entire zip code is desirable, there is a specific zone locals and agents refer to as the “Golden Triangle”. This is the premium pocket of homes where the “Stroller Score” is a perfect 10/10.
Generally defined as the streets radiating off Lincoln Avenue, roughly bounded by Willow Street to the north and Minnesota Avenue to the south, this area is the neighborhood’s beating heart. Living inside this triangle means:
