Giving Tuesday: Supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Giving Tuesday is a reminder that even small acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference.
In 2022, one organization especially close to my heart during Giving Tuesday was St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
I had the opportunity to learn more about St. Jude while attending Coldwell Banker’s Gen Blue event. A speaker shared her family’s deeply personal experience with childhood cancer and how the care and support they received from St. Jude inspired her to continue supporting its mission.
Her story stayed with me.
Why I Chose to Support St. Jude
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital works to advance research and treatment for childhood cancer and other serious pediatric diseases.
One of the things that makes its mission especially meaningful is that families treated at St. Jude never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, allowing families to focus on helping their child.
At the time of my original post, I was also proud to see members of the Coldwell Banker community supporting St. Jude and wanted to help keep that momentum going.
Giving Back to Our Communities
Real estate is what I do, but being part of a community means much more than helping people buy and sell homes.
Whether it’s supporting an organization like St. Jude, volunteering locally or helping a cause that’s personally meaningful to you, Giving Tuesday is a wonderful reminder of how much we can accomplish when people come together.
