The Municipal Rose Garden itself, with its thousands of rose bushes and rose varieties, is the literal and figurative center of the neighborhood. It’s a genuinely well-used community space — locals walk, picnic, and gather here year-round, and it gives the whole neighborhood a sense of shared identity that’s hard to manufacture in newer developments.

- Parking and lot sizes can be tighter than in some of San Jose’s newer or more suburban neighborhoods, which is worth factoring in if that’s a priority for your household.
